Album3D is a new way to experience your photos in immersive, interactive 3D — with albums as 3D scenes you can move through, switchable 3D layouts, and a robust project system that lets you optionally package everything into a single .album3d file. Future releases will add 3D worlds and game‑like experiences that use your own photos.
Album3D is almost here.
For years, photo albums have been stuck on flat screens and in static grids. Album3D turns your photos into immersive, interactive 3D experiences — so you can move through your memories instead of just scrolling past them.
What is Album3D?
Album3D is a new way to experience your photos. Instead of a simple slideshow, each album becomes a 3D scene where your images are arranged in space with depth and perspective. The photos themselves stay as regular 2D pictures — what becomes 3D is the way they’re laid out in the scene.
In the first release, you’ll be able to:
- Build 3D “albums” from your existing photos
- Switch between different 3D layouts and views
- Easily import, organize, and manage multiple albums
- Preview and tweak your 3D scenes before sharing or presenting
Everything is designed to feel intuitive for everyday users, yet powerful enough for professional photographers and creators.
Why we’re excited
Album3D is built for:
- Photographers who want a more impactful, interactive way to present their work
- Families and travelers who want to relive memories, not just look at them
- Creators and studios who need immersive 3D visuals for clients, galleries, or events
Underneath, Album3D uses a robust project system: each Album3D project defines its albums with their own slides and associated information. When you want to share or archive them, you can package everything into a single .album3d file.
What’s next
After the initial launch, we’re planning features that push the 3D side even further, including:
- Choosing different 3D worlds for your albums
- Selecting interactive 3D games where your own photos appear inside the game world
These 3D world and game selection features will be available in upcoming releases.
Coming soon in July
We’re currently polishing the experience and preparing the first public releases.
Album3D is coming in July. We can’t wait to show you what your photos look like in 3D.
